SOUNDING LAKE JUNIOR SERIES - The Jr. Series is a gymkhana/rodeo series which allows contestants 19yrs and under, to compete in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying key hole and breakaway (junior/intermediate/senior divisions only). There are four age divisions: Pee Wee (8 and under), Junior (9-12), Intermediate (13-15) and Senior (16-19). Last year there were eight dates in the series. This gave kids from the community and surrounding area a chance to improve their riding and learn some new events. The kids earn points at each 60-10 in each event to qualify for prizes at the end of the year in each event, as well as custom Becker Buckles for the High-Point winner in each division. Much enjoyment is had by parent, grandparent and child alike.

~ Entries open @ 12:00 with 1:00 start
~ $7 fee per event (portion of entry fee goes toward year end prizes)           
~ Points awarded  60-10
~ Assisted contestant cannot place ahead of unasisted contestant regardless of Time
~ Must attend 5/8 dates to qualify for prizes
~ Highpoint Buckle and prizes awarded in each division as well as individual event prizes
~ If contestant entered in breakaway only 4 best events will count for Hi-Point
