TODD BOGGUST MEMORIAL SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES |
| The Todd Boggust Memorial is held October of every year, it honours the memory of a great cowboy and friend. This event draws many current CFR qualifiers before they head to Edmonton to battle for the Canadian Championship. After a three head qualifying round on Saturday the top 16 contestants come back Sunday in a tournament format. There is a BBQ supper followed by a Calcutta and mixer Saturday night. This is an opportunity to bump elbows and meet rodeos Steer Wrestling & Tie Down Roping elite in a up close and personal setting. With portion of the proceeds to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of their rural program that in conjunction with the Westin Hotel helps rural families with accommodations while receiving treatment. Everybody wins while remembering Todd. Some previous contestants include Canadian champions such as Curtis & Cody Cassidy, Cliff Williamson, Jeff Chapman, Steve Lloyd, and world champions such as Lee Graves, Jason Miller, and local Calgary Stampede Champion Al Bouchard. |
